Yesterday, May 1, 2013 a report was released by the city of Chicago, police department. Citing that the murder rate, was down 42% compare to last year for the first 4 months of the year.

It was reported that at least 11 people were shot in one night. What’s asinine to me is the keeping score, of murders and comparing percentages from one year to next. This creates a distortion in values ! Meaning, we are not really examining root causes. And that one murder is the same as another, or do you agree ?
